Acer traci szefów
Z powodu dużej straty finansowej w III kw. ubywa menedżerów w kierownictwie Acera. Po CEO J.T. Wangu ze stanowiska odejdzie także prezes firmy, Jim Wong.
Wang ogłosił swoje odejście na początku listopada (pozostanie na stanowisku do stycznia 2014 r.). Przyczyną była duża strata producenta – 442 mln dol. w III kw. br. Jim Wong miał być następcą Wanga, ale Acer ogłosił, że również on odejdzie ze stanowiska.
Firmą kieruje tymczasowo jego założyciel i szef rady nadzorczej Stan Shih. Rozpoczęto już poszukiwania kandydatów na stanowisko prezesa. Nie będzie natomiast posady CEO. Jego obowiązki przejęliby prezes oraz szef rady nadzorczej, co ma pomóc w podejmowaniu „skutecznych decyzji”. Wang i Wong pozostaną w Acerze jako doradcy.
