Acer: pierwszy 15-calowy ultrabook
Producent wprowadził na rynek 15,6-calowego ultrabooka Aspire Timeline Ultra M3 z procesorem Sandy Bridge, kartą graficzną i napędem optycznym.
W zależności od konfiguracji ultrabook został wyposażony w procesor Intel Core i3, i5 albo i7. Pojemność RAM-u wynosi 4 – 6 GB. W urządzeniu zainstalowano hybrydowy napęd z dyskiem HDD i systemowym nośnikiem SSD o pojemności 20 GB. Są także wersje tylko z SSD (128 lub 256 GB). Aluminiowa obudowa M3 mieści ponadto kartę graficzną nVidia GeForce GT640M 1 GB, napęd DVD oraz system audio Dolby Home Theater v4.
Dzięki funkcji Acer Green Instant-On wznowienie pracy z trybu uśpienia zajmuje 1,5 sek. Opcja automatycznego wyszukiwania i rejestrowania najczęściej używanych punktów dostępowych według producenta umożliwia nawiązanie połączenia z Internetem w ciągu 2,5 sek. Zainstalowany system to Windows 7 Home Premium.
