Acer: klienci mogą wymienić komputery z wadliwymi chipsetami Intela
W nawiązaniu do informacji o wykryciu wady w chipsetach Intela z serii 6 Acer zapewnił, że użytkownicy urządzeń, których dotyczy problem, mogą liczyć na wsparcie serwisu producenta.
Zgodnie z oświadczeniem Acera, nabywcy komputerów z feralnymi chipsetami mogą zdecydować się na naprawę poprzez serwis zgodnie z warunkami gwarancji (naprawa będzie możliwa, gdy Intel udostępni sprawne chipsety). Klienci mają także do wyboru opcję wymiany komputera Acera z wadliwym podzespołem na inny model. W tym celu powinni zgłosić się do sprzedawcy. Resellerzy zwracają się w tej sprawie do dystrybutora.
Acer wstrzymał dostawy produktów z układami Intela z serii 6. Wkrótce ruszy strona internetowa, na której użytkownicy będą mogli sprawdzić, czy problem dotyczy ich komputera.
