ABC Data na Litwie
Dystrybutor zarejestrował na Litwie spółkę zależną - ABC Data Litwa. Sprzedaż towarów na nowym rynku rozpocznie się jeszcze we wrześniu.
Firma założona u naszych sąsiadów to trzecia spółka ABC Daty poza granicami Polski. W 2005 r. dystrybutor rozpoczął działalność w Czechach, a 3 lata temu – na Słowacji. Jak poinformował wiceprezes spółki, Andrzej Sobol, towar na Litwę będzie dostarczany z magazynu w Warszawie. Sprzedaż ruszy jeszcze w tym miesiącu. Rozpoczęcie dystrybucji w kolejnym kraju to element ogłoszonej w tym roku strategii spółki, która obejmuje również przejęcia zagranicznych firm. Według informacji przekazanych w końcu sierpnia br. ABC Data negocjuje obecnie szczegóły fuzji z jedną ze spółek z Europy Środkowo-Wschodniej. Zawarcia umowy można spodziewać się jeszcze w 2010 r.
W I poł. 2010 r. ABC Data miała 10,9 mln zł zysku netto, czyli o 10 proc. mniej niż rok wcześniej. Przychody wyniosły 1,98 mld zł, niemal tyle samo co w I poł. 2009 r. W całym 2010 r. dystrybutor planuje 31,2 mln zł zysku (wobec 30,3 mln zł w 2009 r.) i 2,46 mld zł przychodów (rok temu było 2,37 mld zł).

Dokładnie 20 lat temu napisałem artykuł zatytułowany „Sprzedaż beznamiętna”, w którym opisałem ówczesny rynek systemów do dystrybucji on-line. Królem naszej polskiej „wioski” był wtedy, a jakże, InterLink. Fenomen tego systemu polegał jednak na tym, że był także królem znacznie większej wioski - tej globalnej.
Połączenie Also i Roseville sfinalizowane
Also Polska ostatecznie połączyło się ze spółką, która jest następcą ABC Daty.
