ABC Data może poszukać inwestora
Dystrybutor zawarł umowę z Jefferies International Limited – doradcą finansowym z siedzibą w Londynie. Nie wyklucza wejścia do spółki inwestora strategicznego.
W ramach kontraktu Jefferies International przeanalizuje opcje rozwoju i ekspansji ABC Daty. Gdyby analiza uzasadniała pozyskanie inwestora strategicznego, doradca zajmie się tym. Inwestycja może nastąpić w drodze przejęcia znacznego pakietu akcji. Umowa ABC Daty z Jefferies International obowiązuje do 30 września 2014 r.
„W ocenie akcjonariuszy pozyskanie nowego inwestora może umożliwić spółce: dostęp do know-how, systemów, technologii, nowych rynków, a także do nowych dostawców oraz powstanie nowych synergii.” – poinformowała ABC Data.
W razie realizacji określonych warunków transakcji wynagrodzenie dla doradcy finansowego pokryje MCI Management – największy udziałowiec ABC Daty. Bezpośrednio lub pośrednio MCI kontroluje ponad 62 proc. akcji spółki.

Dokładnie 20 lat temu napisałem artykuł zatytułowany „Sprzedaż beznamiętna”, w którym opisałem ówczesny rynek systemów do dystrybucji on-line. Królem naszej polskiej „wioski” był wtedy, a jakże, InterLink. Fenomen tego systemu polegał jednak na tym, że był także królem znacznie większej wioski - tej globalnej.

Also Polska ostatecznie połączyło się ze spółką, która jest następcą ABC Daty.
