ABC Data dystrybutorem roku
Na Distree EMEA polska firma została wybrana dystrybutorem roku w regionie Europy Środkowej i Wschodniej.
Tytuł „Central & Eastern Europe Consumer Tech Distributor of the Year” ABC Data uzyskała głosami resellerów i producentów w plebiscycie „EMEA Channel Academy: 2018 Awards”, organizowanego w ramach konferencji Distree EMEA w Monako (6-9 lutego br.). Doroczne wydarzenie gromadzi szefów i dyrektorów firm producenckich, dystrybucyjnych i detalicznych z całego regionu. W tym roku wzięło w nim udział ponad 250 dyrektorów z dystrybucji i retailu.
W tej edycji plebiscytu zmianie uległa procedura głosowania. W poprzednich latach tworzone były – we współpracy z ekspertami rynkowymi z danego regionu – krótkie listy kandydatów do tytułu w poszczególnych kategoriach. W tym roku respondenci dostali wolną rękę i mogli wskazać dowolnego dystrybutora, z którym najlepiej im się współpracuje.
– Jedną z najważniejszych rzeczy w biznesie jest zostać docenionym przez klientów i partnerów – komentuje Ilona Weiss, prezes ABC Daty.
Za działalność prowadzoną w innych częściach regionu EMEA wyróżniono: ALSO, CMS Distribution, Exertis, Ingram Micro, Merlion i Tech Datę.
CRN Polska był patronem medialnym konferencji Distree EMEA 2018.

Dokładnie 20 lat temu napisałem artykuł zatytułowany „Sprzedaż beznamiętna”, w którym opisałem ówczesny rynek systemów do dystrybucji on-line. Królem naszej polskiej „wioski” był wtedy, a jakże, InterLink. Fenomen tego systemu polegał jednak na tym, że był także królem znacznie większej wioski - tej globalnej.
Połączenie Also i Roseville sfinalizowane
Also Polska ostatecznie połączyło się ze spółką, która jest następcą ABC Daty.
