56 mln zł dla holdingu Morele

Prezes Morele.net pokieruje nową grupą e-commerce.

Holding powołany z połączenia morele.net i litewskiej platformy Pigu.pl pozyskał 56 mln zł finansowania – poinformowało MCI. Obie spółki wchodzą w skład portfela funduszu MCI.TechVentures. W nowym podmiocie MCI będzie mieć ponad 50 proc. udziałów.

Zarząd holdingiem i polskim rynkiem został powierzony Michałowi Pawlikowi, dotychczasowemu prezesowi oraz założycielowi morele.net. Wiceprezesem odpowiedzialnym za kraje bałtyckie zostanie Dainius Liulys – dotychczasowy szef i współzałożyciel Pigu.

Obie spółki holdingu zachowają odrębność. Nadal będą funkcjonować na swoich rynkach pod obecnymi markami i z obecnymi zarządami.

"Naszym zamiarem jest, by składający się z udziałów obu spółek holding, stał się w niedalekiej przyszłości platformą do konsolidacji innych podmiotów w regionie" – zapowiada Maciej Kowalski, partner w grupie MCI.

MCI liczy na osiągnięcie przez nowy podmiot 1 mld euro rocznych przychodów w ciągu 5 lat.
