Dwie firmy połączyły siły. Powstał największy producent serwerów i pamięci masowych w Niemczech.
Firmy będą wspólnie pracować nad nowymi produktami.
Thomas Krenn i Extra Computer połączyły siły. Powstał największy w Niemczech producent serwerów, pamięci masowych i systemów przemysłowych. Wartość przychodów to w sumie ok. 120 mln euro, a liczba pracowników wynosi ok. 380.
Firmy pozostaną odrębnymi podmiotami. Nadal będą działać pod dotychczasowymi markami. Aktualna współpraca z partnerami będzie kontynuowana.
Celem połączenia sił jest współpraca w zakresie kompetencji i wymiany specjalistów, rozbudowy portfolio produktów i rozwiązań chmurowych oraz biznesu partnerskiego.
Thomas Krenn działa od 2002 r. i oferuje serwery, storage i rowiązania przemysłowe. Extra Computer powstał w 1989 r. Ma w portfolio komputery stacjonarne i notebooki, tablety, serwery, komputery przemysłowe, usługi chmurowe.
Współpraca oznacza więc również, że powstał dostawca szerokiej oferty sprzętu, od komputerów, poprzez przemysłowe urządzenia po indywidualnie konfigurowane serwery i pamięci masowe.
„Współpraca katapultuje obie firmy na wyższy poziom. Powstaje silny, europejski producent” – twierdzą założyciele Extra Computer, Hans i Wolfgang Fetzer.
