Na rynek nie dojedzie 10 mln iPhone’ów
W tym roku dostawy iPhone'ów będą niższe od planowanych nawet o 10 mln urządzeń - według nieoficjalnych informacji. Powodem są braki komponentów.
W II kw. 2021 r. wartość sprzedaży iPhone;ów wzrosła aż o 50 proc. wobec ub.r.
Niedostatek komponentów mocno ograniczy podaż sprzętu Apple’a. Producent zamierzał dostarczyć w tym roku 90 mln nowych iPhone’ów 13 (weszły na rynek w końcu września br.). Jednak plany te zostaną zrewidowane w dół nawet o 11 proc., czyli ok. 10 mln szt. – informuje Bloomberg. Powodem są braki czipów. Problem ten dotknął także niektórych starszych modeli iPhone’ów, Mac’ów oraz zegarka Apple Watch serii 7 – wynika z doniesień.
W lipcu br. CFO Apple’a uprzedzał, że w III kw. 2021 r. niedostatek podzespołów pogłębi się, co najmocniej uderzy w dostępność iPhone’ów i iPadów. W II kw. 2021 r. Apple dostarczył na rynek w sumie 45,7 mln iPhone’ów (według Canalys). To niewiele więcej niż przed rokiem. Jednak przychody ze sprzedaży smartfonów według Apple’a wzrosły aż o 50 proc., do blisko 40 mld dol.
