Tesla odjeżdża. Przeprowadzka firmy
Koncern porzuca Kalifornię. Zamierza w nowym miejscu stworzyć "ekologiczny raj".
Tesla przenosi siedzibę z Kalifornii do Austin w Teksasie. W nowym miejscu firma „zamierza stworzyć ekologiczny raj” – ogłosił CEO Elon Musk.
Szef firmy już w ub.r. zapowiadał wyprowadzkę po sporze z kalifornijskimi władzami. Natomiast w Teskasie przyjęto go z otwartymi ramionami. Dostał miliony w ulgach podatkowych. Wartość tych pakietów to ok. 60 mln dol. w ciągu 10 lat. Teksańscy włodarze liczą jednak na to, że i tak im się to się opłaci, bo pojawienie się takiego giganta jak Tesla przyciągnie inwestycje zarówno tej firmy, jak i zachęci do przeprowadzki innych. W Teksasie za ponad 1 mld dol. Tesla już buduje zresztą nowe zakłady produkcyjne. Pierwsze pojazdy mają zjechać z taśm jeszcze w tym roku.
Koncern w tym roku notuje rekordowe zyski. W II kw. br. był 1 mld dol. na plusie, aż tyle jeszcze nigdy nie zarobił.
To kolejna przeprowadzka dużej firmy z Kalifornii do Teksasu. W końcu ub.r. przeniósł się tutaj Oracle, oraz HPE. Rozbudowali swoją siedziby internetowi giganci, jak Amazon, Google i Facebook.
