OVHcloud nawiązał współpracę z Aiven
Kooperacja z fińskim dostawcą oprogramowania umożliwi dostawcy usług w chmurze rozszerzenie oferty DBaaS (bazy danych jako usługi).
Partnerstwo pozwoli OVHcloud zaoferować obszerny katalog rozwiązań DBaaS, takich jak MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, Apache Kafka, ElasticSe-arch, M3 i Apache Cassandra. Będą one mieć szerokie zastosowanie, od starszych aplikacji po aplikacje AI, aplikacje internetowe i witryny e-commerce.
Atutem dla klientów biznesowych przemawiającym za skorzystaniem z rozszerzonych usług OVHcloud ma być także to, iż zyskują oni dostęp do w pełni zarządzanego rozwiązania bazodanowego, opartego na „zaufanej chmurze” hostowanej w Europie. Jak twierdzi dostawca, rozwiązania DBaaS oparte na infrastrukturze OVHcloud mają dać organizacjom gwarancje bezpieczeństwa, poufności i odwracalności ich danych.
Według firmy analitycznej Gartner do 2022 r. na platformę chmurową zostanie przeniesionych lub wdrożonych 75 proc. baz danych.
