Wykryto podatności w programach Adobe do odczytu plików PDF.
Są informacje o „ograniczonej liczbie ataków” na użytkowników programu Reader w systemie Windows.
Zespół CERT T-Mobile Polska ostrzega przed zagrożeniem, związanym z podatnościami w programach Adobe Acrobat oraz Acrobat Reader. Ich niezaktualizowana wersja może umożliwić cyberprzestępcom zdalne wykonanie złośliwego kodu.
Atak następuje po otwarciu stworzonego do tego celu pliku PDF. Skutkiem może być utrata danych albo ich zaszyfrowanie, wykorzystanie zasobów komputera do dalszych ataków, czy też całkowite przejęcie PC. Według Adobe wykryty błąd (CVE-2021-28550) wykorzystano w „ograniczonej liczbie ataków” na użytkowników programu Reader w systemie Windows. Z informacji wynika, że ryzyko dotyczy natomiast także Mac’a.
CERT T-Mobile Polska rekomenduje pilną aktualizację oprogramowania. Adobe udostępniło nowe wersje programów pozbawione tych podatności.
