Cała szóstka topowych marek zwiększy dostawy w II kw. br.
Dostawy laptopów w II kw. 2021 r. przekroczą 62 mln szt. – prognozuje Digitimes Research. To ok. 10 proc. więcej, niż trafiło na rynek w I kw. 2021 r. (a wówczas spadek kw./kw. wyniósł -8,7 proc.). Dane nie obejmują urządzeń 2 w 1 z odłączaną klawiaturą (detachables).
Cała szóstka największych producentów powinna wprowadzić na rynek więcej laptopów w bieżącym kwartale. Na wyniki wpływ będą miały jednak lokalne zamówienia i konkretne segmenty rynku. Np. HP osiągając rekordy na chromebookach powinno dostarczyć w II kw. br. więcej urządzeń niż Lenovo, ponieważ dla tej firmy ku końcowi ma się realizacja dużego projektu w edukacji w Japonii.
Jednocześnie tajwański serwis przyznaje, że braki podzespołów nadal pozostają poważnym problemem. Ostatnio eksplodowały ceny DRAM. Za popularne moduły do PC płaci się już nawet 25 proc. więcej niż w I kw. 2021 r. – według TrendForce. Z kolei analitycy tej firmy w kwietniu szacowali, że firmy ODM dostarczą w II kw. 2021 r. na rynek o 8 proc. więcej komputerów niż w I kw. 2021 r.
