6,5 mln zł wyłudzone na start-upy
Zatrzymania w Katowicach.
CBA zatrzymało 6 członków zarządu spółki wspierającej start-upy. Uzyskali dofinansowanie z PARP, a następnie z pomocą "słupów" wyprowadzili pieniądze do własnych spółek. Oszustwo na szkodę PARP wyniosło blisko 8,5 mln zł. Akcja miała miejsce w Katowicach. W miejscowej prokuraturze zatrzymanym przedstawiono zarzuty działania w zorganizowanej grupie przestępczej i prania pieniędzy na sumę 6,5 mln zł. Według CBA taka jest kwota wyłudzeń. W ocenie śledczych sprawa jest rozwojowa. Nie są wykluczone kolejne zatrzymania.
Nie jest to pierwsza sprawa związana z oszustwem na szkodę PARP na rzekome wsparcie start-upów. W grudniu 2019 r. zatrzymano 5 osób w Lublinie w związku z podejrzeniem wyłudzenia 640 tys. zł grantów na rzekomy projekt "wirtualnych okularów". Po uzyskaniu dotacji spółka nie zrobiła nic, by stworzyć ten "innowacyjny" projekt, a pieniądze przytulił jeden z podejrzanych.
