Oracle w Polsce nie porzuci klientów on-premises
Szef polskiego oddziału zapewnia o szybkim wzroście liczby klientów chmurowych.
"Wierzymy w chmurę, ale nie porzucimy klientów on-premise, którzy ścieżkę do chmury będą przechodzić dłużej" – zapewnił według ISBnews Piotr Witczyński, pełniący funkcję dyrektora generalnego Oracle Polska.
Przyznał jednocześnie, że polscy klienci są konserwatywnie nastawieni do wdrożeń rozwiązań chmurowych. Największe zainteresowanie Oracle odnotowuje w takich branżach jak ubezpieczenia, przemysł i telekomunikacja. Liczba klientów chmurowych Oracle Polska według dyrektora rośnie o ponad 50 proc. rocznie. (obecnie jest ich ponad 50).
Rozwój usług chmurowych jest globalnym priorytetem korporacji. Ostatnio w skali światowej dynamika przychodów z chmury w Oracle spadła. Nadal gros obrotów dostawca generuje z licencji on-premises (w II kw. finansowym odpowiadały globalnie za 65 proc. przychodów).
