UOKiK zablokuje strony internetowe
Takie prawo dają mu nowe regulacje unijne.
Urząd Ochrony Konkurencji i Konsumentów (UOKiK) będzie mógł zablokować a nawet usunąć strony lub serwisy internetowe, które działają na szkodę konsumentów. Będzie też mógł nakazać wprowadzenie stosownych zmian w witrynie.
Takie możliwości daje mu nowe rozporządzenie przyjęte przez Parlament Europejski. Ma ono pomóc w walce z internetowymi oszustami i wspierać uczciwych przedsiębiorców.
Urząd będzie mógł usuwać m.in. strony, których operatorzy nie wysyłają zamówionego i opłaconego towaru lub wprowadzają klientów świadomie w błąd, na przykład przez ukrywanie dodatkowych opłat.
Na razie nie wiadomo jeszcze, kiedy nowe uprawnienia wejdą w życie.
