Sprzedaż ITS rośnie o 25 proc. rocznie
Sprzedaż maszyn z systemem stałego zasilania w atrament (ITS) sięgnęła 20 mln szt. Zwiększy się w tym roku o 25 proc. – według danych Epsona.
Łączna światowa sprzedaż drukarek z systemem stałego zasilania w atrament osiągnęła 20 mln szt. – poinformował Epson. Dla porównania w czerwcu 2016 r. przekroczono pułap 15 mln szt.
Maszyny tego typu producent wprowadził na rynek po raz pierwszy w październiku 2010 r. w Indonezji. Od tego czasu pojawiły się w ponad 150 krajach i regionach. Urządzenia ITS Epsona mają obecnie 10 proc. rynku drukarek (zarówno atramentowych jak i laserowych) w tych krajach (ok. 45 mln). W Polsce są dostępne od 2012 r.
Sprzedaż drukarek na rynkach wschodzących.
W urządzeniach ITS nie trzeba wymieniać kartidży z atramentem. Według Epsona niższe są koszty druku, mniejsza jest również ilość odpadów powstałych wskutek zużycia materiałów eksploatacyjnych.
Według prognoz Epsona, coroczny wzrost sprzedaży tych drukarek osiągnie 25 proc. pod koniec roku fiskalnego 2017. ITS-y będą stanowić w przybliżeniu 40 proc. sprzedaży drukarek atramentowych Epsona w tym okresie.
