Acer: smart system do parkowania
Acer wspólnie z władzami miasta Tainan i Politechniką Tainanu pokazał inteligentny system zarządzania parkowaniem przy ulicach.
Na razie system działa w południowej części tajwańskiego Tainanu. Producent zapowiada jednak, że będzie kontynuował współpracę z lokalnymi i zagranicznymi partnerami, by rozwijać innowacyjne rozwiązania dla miast w oparciu o technologię IoT, przetwarzanie danych w chmurze i analizę Big Data.
System za pośrednictwem aplikacji instalowanej w smartfonie, w czasie rzeczywistym, dostarcza kierowcom informacji o wolnych miejscach postojowych, skracając znacząco czas szukania parkingu. Jednocześnie umożliwia władzom miasta bieżący monitoring wykorzystania przestrzeni parkingowej realizowany na podstawie analizy Big Data.
Dzięki zastosowaniu inteligentnych parkometrów i czujników automatycznego rozpoznawania tablic rejestracyjnych, system upraszcza też procedurę pobierania opłat za parkowanie i wydawanie biletów parkingowych.
