W przedsprzedaży otrzymuje się wersję 2009, a upgrade do ACDSee 12 pod koniec kwietnia. Nowa sugerowana cena detaliczna wynosi 69.99 dol. netto.
Nową wersję charakteryzuje:

– szybsze grupowanie, wyszukiwanie i podgląd obrazów,
– nowe suwaki regulujące nasycenie, jasność i czystość koloru bez utraty ostrości,
– obsługa kilkudziesięciu formatów obrazów jak: BMP, GIF, JPG, PNG, PSD, MP3, MPEG, TIFF, WAV i wiele innych,
– łatwe zamieszczanie zdjęć w Internecie
Z ACDSee 12, dostaje się gratis 2 GB pamięci do udostępniania swoich obrazów.
