Hybrydowe płyty dla procesorów Core i7 oraz i5
Na początku września Asus wprowadził na rynek płyty główne serii P7P55D.
Produkty są wyposażone w chipset Intel P55 Express i współpracują z gniazdem LGA 1156 dla procesorów Intel Core i7, i5. Kontroler SATA umożliwia transfer danych z przepustowością 6 Gb/s. Na płytach zainstalowano hybrydowe systemy:
-zasilania (48-, 24- lub 16-fazowy,w zależności od modelu) – ma podnieść wydajność energetyczną produktów,
– operacyjny – Hybrid OS, pozwala na uruchamianie Windows 7 z lepszymi zabezpieczeniami i Express Gate, który umożliwia szybki dostęp do aplikacji internetowych,
– procesorowy – oprócz gniazda dla procesora intelowskiego jest także mikroukład Asusa – TurboV EVO (interfejs tego mikroprocesora i dołączone do płyty narzędzia Auto Tuning, Asus OC Profile, Asus Turbo Key mają ułatwiać przetaktowywanie).
Ceny detaliczne brutto płyt serii P7P55D wynoszą: Premium – 949 zł, Deluxe – 789 zł,
EVO – 709 zł, PRO – 629 zł, P7P55D – 529 zł, LE – 469 zł. Gwarancja – 3 lata.
