Producent rozszerzy ofertę o Toughbooka CF-AX2 - pancernego ultrabooka z dotykowym ekranem, którego można przekształcić w tablet.
Urządzenie ma 11,6-calowy wyświetlacz HD, który można obrócić o 360 st. Matrycę pokryto filtrem redukującym odblaski. Komputer jest odporny na upadek z wysokości do 76 cm oraz nacisk na ekran z siłą 100 kG. W obudowie o grubości 18 mm zmieścił się procesor ULV Intel Core i5-3427U, 4 GB RAM-u i dysk SSD o pojemności 128 GB. Na wyposażeniu CF-AX2 znalazł się także czytnik kart SDXC/SDHC/SD, porty HDMI, VGA i LAN i dwa wejścia USB 3.0. Opcjonalnie jest dostępny modem 3G. Toughbook działa na baterii według producenta przez 8 godz.
Laptop pojawi się w sprzedaży w I kw. 2013 r. Producent na razie nie podaje ceny na polski rynek. W Wielkiej Brytanii CF-AX2 ma kosztować ok. 1330 funtów netto (czyli ok. 6650 zł). Gwarancja: 3 lata.
