Do końca 2013 roku spółka planuje uruchomić 30 nowych sklepów.
– Nasze działania skupiamy na osiągnięciu pozycji lidera w branży elektromarketów. Jest to dla nas priorytet, jednak nie stawiamy nowych placówek za wszelką cenę – mówi Sławomir Tomala, prezes Avansu. – Każde otwarcie sklepu poprzedzamy analizą danej lokalizacji. Decydujemy się na różnego typu obiekty – również wolnostojące czy retail-parki, świadomie nie ograniczając się wyłącznie do galerii handlowych.
Od początku br. celem ekspansji sieci są miasta, w których dotychczas nie było sklepów Avansu.
Avans poinformował także, że zdobył Laur Konsumenta Grand Prix 2013. Jest to wyróżnienie przyznawane markom odnoszącym sukces w kolejnych trzech edycjach plebiscytu.
