Trwa boom na smartphony
Już co trzeci sprzedawany telefon to smartphon. Według ABI Research w IV kw. 2011 r. liderem światowego rynku tych urządzeń było Apple. Wśród tańszych modeli rośnie popularność Huawei i ZTE.
Jak ustaliła firma badawcza, w ostatnich trzech miesiącach roku globalny rynek wchłonął 150 mln smartphonów, co oznacza rekordowy udział w rynku aparatów telefonicznych (36 proc.). Doskonały okres zaliczył Apple, sprzedając 37 mln urządzeń, o 117 proc. więcej niż w III kw. 2011 r. Poprawę wyniku firma zawdzięcza m.in. udanej premierze najnowszego iPhone’a – 4S. Numerem dwa był Samsung z wynikiem 33 mln szt. Segment tańszych modeli opanowują chińskie koncerny – Huawei i ZTE, które znalazły nabywców na odpowiednio 6,6 i 4,5 mln szt.
W całym 2011 roku producenci dostarczyli na rynek 473 mln smartphonów, o 57,4 proc. więcej niż rok wcześniej. Wszystkich telefonów sprzedano 1,54 mld szt. (wzrost o 11,4 proc.). Liderami byli Nokia i Samsung.
