Sprzedaż inteligentnych zegarków wzrośnie o 48 proc.
Według Gartnera sprzedaż inteligentnych zegarków pójdzie w górę niemal o 50 proc. do 2017 r. Głównie dzięki nim będzie rosła popularność urządzeń noszonych.
Analitycy oceniają, że cały rynek wearables wzrośnie o 18,4 proc. w 2016 r., co oznacza zwiększenie sprzedaży ze 232 mln szt. w 2015 r. do 274,6 mln szt. Przychody w br. na całym rynku wyniosą 28,7 mld dol., z tego 11,5 mld dol. wygenerują inteligentne zegarki. W ocenie analityków mają one największy potencjał wzrostu wśród urządzeń noszonych. W 2019 r. przychody z ich sprzedaży powinny wynieść 17,5 mld dol. Co istotne, Gartner traktuje tę kategorię produktów odrębnie od zegarków sportowych oraz inteligentnych opasek.
Za wzrostem sprzedaży będą stać przede wszystkim urządzenia Apple’a. Według analityków trudno jednak określić wielkość sprzedaży tego urządzenia, bo producent w raportach finansowych informuje o wynikach sprzedaży Apple Watcha łącznie z innym sprzętem.
