Asus tnie prognozę przychodów
Przychody Asus w II kw. br. będą o ok. 5 proc. niższe, niż wcześniej zakładano. Wynik jest związany ze słabym popytem na smartfony.
Według zapowiedzi spółki przychody w II kw. br. wyniosą 2,77 – 2,93 mld dol. amerykańskich. Poprzednio przewidywano wynik w widełkach 2,93 – 3,09 mld dol. Mimo mniejszych obrotów zarząd zapewnia, że marża operacyjna utrzyma się na poziomie 4 – 4,5 proc.
Niższe niż przewidywano obroty są związane ze słabnącym popytem na smartfony. W lutym br. Asus obniżył prognozę sprzedaży tych urządzeń w 2016 r. z 30 mln szt. do 25 mln szt., z uwagi na spowolnienie na światowym rynku i przesuniętą premierę nowej generacji smartfonów ZenFone.
Z kolei w przypadku notebooków Asus podtrzymuje osiągnięcie wyniku lepszego niż średnia na rynku – w I poł. br. sprzedaż ma być na poziomie zbliżonym do I poł. ub.r., podczas gdy cały rynek w I kw. był w blisko 10-procentowym dołku.
W III kw. br. Asus zamierza wprowadzić na rynek high-endowe smartfony i notebooki, aby podnieść średnią cenę sprzedaży. Zapowiada także poprawę efektywności operacyjnej poprzez lepszą alokację zasobów.
