Model TL-WR1043ND został zaprezentowany w nowej wersji.
TL-WR1043ND to router działający w standardzie N, wyposażony w 4 porty LAN, 1 WAN i 1 USB 2.0. Zmodyfikowane urządzenie ma dodatkowy tryb pracy Speed Boost, dzięki któremu – jak zapewnia producent – wzrosła prędkość transmisji danych w sieci bezprzewodowej (w standardzie N wynosi według specyfikacji do 450 Mb/s – dynamicznie). Kolejnym usprawnieniem jest sprzętowy kontroler NAT, który odpowiada za sprawniejsze zarządzanie i wzrost przepustowości pomiędzy WAN i LAN, która wynosi teraz 800 Mb/s. Nowy TL-WR1043ND został także wyposażony w mocniejsze anteny o uzysku na poziomie 5 dBi.
TL-WR1043ND ma nową obudowę, zgodną z aktualną stylistyką marki. W jej tylnej części umieszczono m.in. przyciski służące do nawiązywania szyfrowanego połączenia (WPS), wyłączania sieci bezprzewodowej oraz resetowania routera.
