Panasonic: pancerny tablet dla sprzedawców
Producent zaprezentował tablet z serii Toughpad, wyposażony w oprogramowanie do zarządzania flotą urządzeń mobilnych. Według dostawcy sprzęt może przydać się w sieci sprzedaży.
Tablet ma 10,1-calowy ekran XGA, dwurdzeniowy procesor (1,2 GHz), 1 GB RAM-u i 16 GB pamięci flash. Sprzęt jest odporny na wstrząsy, pył, wilgoć (normy MIL-STD-810G i IP65). Wyposażono go w opcjonalny modem 3G/4G (LTE), moduł Wi-Fi oraz GPS. Wśród złącz są mikroHDMI, mikroUSB i czytnik kart mikroSD chronione ruchomą pokrywą.
Urządzenie zostanie zaoferowane z oprogramowaniem Red Bend, które umożliwia – za pomocą modułów łączności bezprzewodowej – zdalne instalowanie, usuwanie i aktualizowanie aplikacji. Można także określić terminy i miejsca przeprowadzenia aktualizacji, a także zablokować ten proces. Zdaniem Panasonika opcje zdalnego zarządzania powinny sprawdzić się w sieci sprzedaży.
Toughpad z Red Bend będzie dostępny w maju. Przewidywana cena wersji standardowej wynosi 4,5 tys. zł, z modemem – 5,5 tys. zł. Gwarancja: 3 lata.
