Pronox wychodzi z branży IT
Spółka będzie holdingiem marek luksusowych - ogłosił prezes Ireneusz Król. Przejmie firmy zajmujące się m.in. dystrybucją bielizny i alkoholi.
Jak poinformował w TVN CNBC Ireneusz Król, prezes Pronoksu,
nowy plan rozwoju spółki powstał po rozmowach z udziałowcami, Mariuszem
Jawoszkiem (jest przewodniczącym rady nadzorczej) oraz Dariuszem Smagorowiczem
(były prezes Pronoksu, obecnie ma prawie 14 proc. kapitału). Firma wyjdzie z
branży IT (straci słowo „Technology” w nazwie) i będzie grupować luksusowe
marki, m.in. związaną z Mariuszem Jawoszkiem Esotiq & Henderson
(dystrybucja bielizny) oraz Rum Dictador (alkohole). Esotiq tworzy sieć kawiarni,
która zapewne będzie należeć do Pronoksu jako holdingu. Zmiana branży nastąpi
ze względu na niewielką opłacalność biznesu technologicznego.
– Marże są niskie, konkurencja się zaostrza – wyjaśnił
prezes spółki. – Dobra luksusowe to biznes wysokomarżowy.
W najbliższym czasie nowa strategia zostanie omówiona na
radzie nadzorczej. Pronox jest w upadłości układowej od 2009 r. Wierzyciele
spółki mają głosować nad propozycjami układowymi zarządu. Decyzja w tej sprawie
zostanie podjęta w na początku listopada.

Nowy prezes ATM
Maciej Krzyżanowski zrezygnował w dniu 6 listopada z funkcji prezesa zarządu ATM. Zastąpił go Tadeusz Czichon, dotychczasowy wiceprezes i największy akcjonariusz spółki.
