Dwa gniazda opcjonalnych rozszerzeń umożliwiają dodanie dwóch kolejnych portów 10GE. Przełącznik może pracować w temperaturach od -40o C do 65o C. Ma modularne zasilanie, można go wyposażyć w dwa zestawy mocy nadmiarowej (230V AC lub-48V DC). Modularnie montowane są także wentylatory. Minimalna głębokość przełącznika to 25,4 cm. Urządzenie jest przeznaczone przede wszystkim do agregacji oraz szkieletowych warstw sieci metropolitalnych lub do zastosowań przemysłowych.
