Goodram: DDR4 do notebooków
Wilk Elektronik, właściciel marki Goodram, wprowadzi na rynek moduły RAM DDR4 16 GB SODIMM, taktowane z częstotliwością 2133 MHz. Producent zapewnia, że to unikatowa konfiguracja na rynku.
Moduły są przeznaczone do komputerów przenośnych. Jeszcze w grudniu w ofercie producenta pojawi się nowa pamięć zbudowana na bazie kości 8 GB Samsunga. Użycie 8-gigabajtowych kości umożliwia wyprodukowanie modułu o pojemności 8 GB, a więc w wersji dual użytkownicy notebooków z dwoma bankami pamięci będą mogli wyposażyć swoje komputery w 16 GB pamięci. Według producenta taka konfiguracja jest unikatowa na rynku.
Moduły SODIMM DDR4 są zasilane napięciem 1,2 V (DDR3 wymagały 1,5 V). Oznacza to zmniejszenie poboru mocy nawet o 40 proc. Ponadto nowe moduły cechuje, jak zapewnia producent, wysoka stabilność działania i niezawodność. Prędkość transferu danych sięga 17000 MB/s. W przypadku SODIMM DDR3 maksymalna wartość wynosiła 12800 MB/s.
