Producenci narzekają na Windows 8
Debiut Windows 8 był rozczarowujący - stwierdził wiceprezes HP Todd Bradley. Nie odniósł sukcesu - ocenia prezes Acera.
Według przedstawiciela HP start nowego systemu był wolniejszy niż wielu oczekiwało. W tym miesiącu jednak Todd Bradley dostrzega poprawę. Prezes Acera, Jim Wong, mówi z kolei o braku sukcesu – Cały rynek nie powrócił do wzrostów po premierze Windows 8, dlatego łatwo ocenić, czy odniósł sukces czy nie – wyjaśnia szef tajwańskiej firmy. Natomiast dyrektor finansowy Della, Brian Gladden, stwierdził w końcu ub. roku, że Windows 8 nie będzie miał wpływu na wyniki producenta w najbliższych dwóch kwartałach, bo klienci nie spieszą z aktualizacją do nowego systemu.
Na początku stycznia br. według szefowej marketingu Microsoftu liczba sprzedanych licencji Windows 8 osiągnęła 60 mln. W grudniu ub.r. według NetMarketshare Windows 8 miał 1,76 proc. udziału w światowym rynku systemów operacyjnych (w Polsce – ponad 3 proc.).
