Prokuratura zajmie się użytkownikami Chomikuj.pl
Serwis Sagio.pl złożył zawiadomienie o podejrzeniu popełnieniu przestępstwa przez użytkowników Chomikuj.pl. Na portalu bezprawnie udostępniano filmy pochodzące z Sagio.
Jak poinformował Marek Kawecki, redaktor naczelny Sagio.pl, zarzuty dotyczą kradzieży utworów i ich bezprawnego udostępniania w celu uzyskania korzyści majątkowej. Na Chomikuj.pl umieszczono 141 filmów, które na Sagio.pl można oglądać tylko online. Wartość skradzionych utworów oszacowano na kilkadziesiąt tysięcy złotych. Użytkownikom, którzy wbrew prawu udostępnili utwory, grozi odpowiedzialność karna. Ponadto Sagio.pl będzie domagać się od nich odszkodowania.
– Po ustaleniu wszystkich danych, dotyczących miedzy innymi liczby osób, którym udostępniono nasze filmy, co pozwoli oszacować utracone korzyści, wytoczymy powództwa o zapłatę odszkodowań i kar umownych wynikających z naszego regulaminu – powiedział Marek Kawecki.
Chomikuj.pl usunął nielegalnie pozyskane utwory ze swoich stron i upomniał użytkowników udostępniających te materiały. Szef Sagio.pl poinformował, że serwis nie planuje żadnych działań przeciwko Chomikuj.pl ani jego właścicielom.
