NASK ochroni polski Internet przed cyberprzestępcami
Od 20 grudnia NASK udostępni domenę .pl zabezpieczoną systemem DNSSEC (DNS Security Extensions). Jak zapewnia instytut, jest to początek wdrożenia rozwiązania, które utrudni przestępcom podszywanie się pod strony internetowe firm czy urzędów.
Michał Chrzanowski, dyrektor Naukowej i Akademickiej Sieci Komputerowej, poinformował, że DNSSEC wprowadza mechanizmy autoryzacji i kontroli niezmienności danych przesyłanych w protokole DNS (Domain Name System). Dzięki temu internauci będą chronieni przed atakami, które na przykład kierują na spreparowaną przez przestępców stronę WWW banku. Cały proces jest realizowany siłami NASK. Wdrożenie DNSSEC w Polsce będzie realizowane etapami, a jego zakończenie planowane jest na II kwartał 2012 roku. Na początek NASK udostępni w zabezpieczonej formie zarządzane przez siebie domeny (zarówno funkcjonalne, np. .com.pl, .net.pl, jak i regionalne, np. .waw.pl, .wroclaw.pl).
