Płyty z różnymi kartami
MSI zapowiedziało wprowadzenie do sprzedaży płyt głównych z funkcją Fuzion, która umożliwia instalację kart graficznych różnych producentów.
Na przełomie lipca i sierpnia na polskim rynku pojawią się dwie płyty główne MSI: P55A Fuzion z chipsetem Intel P55+Lucid LT22102 oraz 870A Fuzion oraz z chipsetem AMD770+SB710. Urządzenia są przystosowane do instalacji 16 GB pamięci RAM DDR3, mają m.in. po 6 złączy SATAII i 2 SATAIII, 7 portów USB (w tym jeden 3.0) i po 2 złącza PCI-Express x16. Na płytach można instalować po dwie karty graficzne różnych producentów, np. produkty z układami nVidii na płycie z chipsetem AMD. Karty są łączone w różnych trybach, podnosząc wydajność komputera. Funkcja OC Genie pozwala automatycznie, przy pomocy jednego przycisku, znaleźć najbardziej efektywne ustawienia BIOS-u. Oba modele mają funkcję Super Unlock, która np. na płycie z chipsetem Intela przyspiesza taktowanie procesora do 4 GHz. Płyty zostały wykonane z komponentów odpornych na wysoką temperaturę, jak kondensatory typu Hi-c CAP (Highly Conductive Polymerized Capacitors). Ich budowa umożliwia zainstalowanie dodatkowego chłodzenia.
Cena urządzeń nie została jeszcze ustalona. Produkty mają 3 lata gwarancji.
