Asmax: nowe rozwiązanie NAS
Oferta Veracompu wzbogaciła się o Asmax GIGA NAS-Print Serwer - wielofunkcyjne urządzenie sieciowe przeznaczone dla domowej lub firmowej sieci LAN.
Posiada dwa złącza USB : do jednego można podłączyć przenośną pamięć USB lub dysk o pojemności nawet 2 TB, natomiast do kolejnego – drukarkę, dzięki czemu wielu użytkowników w ramach jednej sieci zyskuje dostęp do drukarki sieciowej (print serwer). Nowy NAS od Asmaxa oferuje funkcję serwera plików SAMBA dla lokalnej sieci LAN, a także opcję serwera FTP dla udostępniania zasobów dysku w całej sieci internet z możliwością zarządzania hasłami i prawem dostępu do danych.
GIGA NAS ma także port Gigabit Ethernet 10/100/1000 Mb/s. Wbudowanego klienta BitTorrent pozwala na pobieranie z sieci pożądanych plików także wtedy, gdy komputer jest wyłączony. Z kolei muzyka i gry są dostępne z poziomu XBOX360 Media Serwer oraz Apple i-Tunes Music Serwer. Nowy Asmax jest kompatybilny z oprogramowaniem Windows 2000/XP/VISTA/7, a także Mac 10.5.4 i nowszymi. Instrukcja obsługi oraz interfejs są w języku polskim.
