Producent zaprezentował serię 8, 16 i 24-portowych przełączników zarządzalnych GS1900.
Seria ZyXEL GS1900 (GS1900-8, GS1900-8HP, GS1900-16 i GS1900-24E) to switche, którymi można zarządzać z pomocą przeglądarki internetowej. Urządzenia obsługują połączenia gigabitowe, mają mechanizmy ochrony sieci przed błędami, funkcje oszczędzania energii. Przełączniki mogą działać w standardzie IEEE 802.3az Energy Efficient Ethernet (EEE), który pomaga w wykrywaniu ruchu i umożliwia regulację mocy.
Model GS1900-8HP pracujący w standardzie IEEE 802.3at PoE Plus ma 8 portów PoE (ponad 30 watów każdy). Do wyboru są dwa tryby pracy PoE: klasyfikacji i konsumpcji. W trybie konsumpcji GS1900-8HP automatycznie rezerwuje wymaganą moc i reguluje pobór prądu w różnych portach.
Sugerowane ceny dla użytkownika końcowego: GS1900-8 – 46 euro (193 zł po kursie 4,20 zł za 1 euro), GS1900-8HP – 91 euro (382 zł), GS1900-24E – 86 euro (361 zł).
