Panasonic: najlżejszy 14-calowy notebook
Urządzenie o nazwie Toughbook CF-LX3 to według producenta najlżejszy (waży 1,26 kg) 14-calowy notebook dostępny obecnie na rynku. Jest to model klasy Business Rugged.
Urządzenie wyposażono w Windows 8.1 Pro Update 64 bit, jest także dostępna opcja zamiany na Windows 7 Professional. W Toughbooku zainstalowano procesor Intel Core i5-4310U Pro (2 GHz – 3 GHz), 4 GB RAM-u (opcjonalnie 8 GB) oraz dysk SSD o pojemności 128 GB.
CF-LX3 ma złącze LAN, porty VGA, HDMI, USB 3.0 i 2.0, slot na kartę SD. Za pośrednictwem portu USB – Always On można ładować tablety i smartfony, także wtedy, gdy Toughbook jest wyłączony lub uśpiony.
Bateria według producenta wystarcza na 14 godz. pracy. Czas ładowania akumulatora wynosi 3 godz. Dzięki obudowie wykonanej ze stopu magnezu, CF-LX3 wytrzyma upadek z wysokości do 76 cm.
Całe urządzenie jest według Panasonica o 10 proc. mniejsze od klasycznych 14-calowych laptopów. Odstępy między sąsiadującymi klawiszami wynoszą 19 mm.
