D-Link: pierwszy router w standardzie 802.11ac
AC1750 Gigabit (DIR-865L) to według producenta pierwszy na świecie router w standardzie 802.11ac. Umożliwia transfer danych z prędkością do 1,75 Gb/s.
Standard 802.11ac umożliwia przesyłanie danych szybciej i na większą odległość niż N. Mniejsze jest ryzyko zakłóceń. Urządzenie AC1750 Gigabit działa w paśmie 5 GHz, ma także funkcję obsługi dwóch pasm jednocześnie. Maksymalna łączna prędkość transmisji bezprzewodowej wynosi 1,75 Gb/s (1,3 Gb/s zgodnie ze standardem ac w paśmie 5 GHz i 450 Mb/s w paśmie 2,4 GHz). Router obsługuje protokół IPv6.
Użytkownik może korzystać z usług w chmurze mydlink, które umożliwiają m.in. monitoring sieci. Aplikacja D-Linka do systemów iOS i Android zapewnia zdalny dostęp do plików i multimediów zapisanych na zewnętrznym dysku USB, połączonym z routerem.
D-Link zapowiedział wprowadzenie na rynek pierwszego modułu dodatkowego USB w standardzie 802.11ac. Adapter AC (DWA-182) będzie dostępny we wrześniu. Umożliwi on użytkownikom komputerów korzystanie z połączeń 802.11ac.
