Na rozpoczynających się na Tajwanie targach Computex Acer zaprezentuje 8-calowy tablet Iconia Tab 8 z ekranem Full HD i czterordzeniowym procesorem Atom.
W urządzeniu zainstalowano procesor Intel Atom Z3745 oraz system Android 4.4. Według producenta tablet działa na baterii 7,5 godz. W wyświetlaczu zastosowano rozwiązanie o nazwie Zero Air Gap, które redukuje odblaski, zwiększa kontrast i poprawia jakość obrazu w świetle słonecznym. Ekran ma także powłokę redukującą odciski palców. Użytkownik nowej Iconii uzyskuje dostęp do stworzonej przez Acera platformy online Build Your Own Cloud (BYOC), która umożliwia integrację z innymi urządzeniami tej marki.
Tablet pojawi się na polskim rynku w lipcu br. Sugerowana cena: od 649 zł.
