Synology: rackowe serwery NAS
Producent zaprezentował nowe modele serwerów NAS do montażu w szafach rackowych: czterodyskowy RS812 oraz dwudyskowy RS212.
Urządzenia wyposażono w procesory taktowane z częstotliwością 1,6 GHz, dwa porty USB i jedno złącze eSATA. RackStation 812 ma 512 MB RAM-u, a RackStation 212 – 256 MB. W obu maszynach zamontowano podwójne złącze LAN. Dostępna jest funkcja hot swap.
Po podłączeniu modułu rozszerzającego Synology RX410 pojemność RS812 można powiększyć do 8 dysków twardych (również w trakcie pracy urządzenia). W trybie RAID 5 prędkość odczytu danych wynosi 109,7 MB/s i zapisu 50,6 MB/s.
W RS212 dostęp do płyty głównej i złącz możliwy jest od frontu. Serwer może pracować w temperaturze do 45 st. C. Maksymalny hałas generowany przez wentylator wynosi 28 dB.
RS812 i RS212 mają zainstalowany system operacyjny DiskStation Manager 3.2 (DSM 3.2). Według dostawcy czterodyskowa maszyna podczas pracy pobiera 37 W energii, a dwudyskowa 25,3 W.
Ceny detaliczne netto: RS212 – 1 549 zł, RS812 – 2200 zł. Standardowa gwarancja: 2 lata.
