Dwa nowe tablety - Cintiq Companion i Cintiq Companion Hybrid - umożliwiają pracę z piórem elektronicznym na ekranie dotykowym.
Oba modele mają dotykowy wyświetlacz Full HD i czujnik nachylenia pióra Wacom Pro Pen o 2048 poziomach nacisku. Cintiq Companion jest wyposażony w system Windows 8, procesor Intel Core trzeciej generacji (z GPU HD Graphics 4000) i 8 GB RAM-u. Dostępne są dwie wersje – z dyskiem SSD o pojemności 256 GB i Windows 8, oraz z SSD 512 GB i Windows 8 Pro.
W Cintiq Companion Hybrid zainstalowano Androida. Urządzenie zostało wyposażone w procesor Nvidia Tegra 4 i 2 GB RAM-u. Dostępne są dwie wersje – z pamięcią 16 GB i 32 GB. W pakiecie oprogramowania jest Wacom Creative Canvas do malowania i szkicowania, Wacom Manga Canvas do pierwszych etapów tworzenia Mangi oraz menedżer plików Astro.
Zarówno Cintiq Companion, jak i Cintiq Companion Hybrid mają nowe menu ekranowe, przyciski ExpressKeys, pokrętło Rocker Ring i Radial Menu. Na wyposażeniu są także: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth (4.0 w Cintiq Companion i 3.0 w Cintiq Companion Hybrid), przednie i tylne kamery HD (odpowiednio 2 i 8 megapikseli), gniazdo słuchawek stereofonicznych oraz mikrofon.
Ceny brutto: Cintiq Companion – 1899,90 euro (wersja 256 GB) i 2399,90 euro (512 GB), Cintiq Companion Hybrid – 1399,90 euro (16 GB) i 1499,90 euro (32 GB).
